After filming and wrapping The Unfathomable Mr Jones Feature Film comedy, parts 1 & 2 between 2012 and 2014 and some pickups in 2016, amid her Feature film Eva’s Diamond’s success, the director, Ice Neal, received a call from God in 2015, which left her beautifully speechless, a revelation she could never have foreseen, too wonderful for her to comprehend. This call from God made her step aside for a few years to be with God alone, doing His will, church and missionary work, and wait until He redirected her path, showing her the way to go. Great things have happened, and many things God taught her, and a stronger character she has become. In March 2024, she had the Lord’s approval to continue her film work. So the first thing she thought of in her excitement was to finish the ultra-low budget, over-the-top feature film comedy, The Unfathomable Mr Jones, Part 1 & 2. If God’s willing, it will be completed at once in 2025.
‘God is my greatest inspiration. My work reflects the life that I know. And the life I know has all kinds of things, experiences, emotions, and beliefs.’
‘I don’t want to tell people what they want to hear, and I don’t want to show them what they want to see, but the truth. When they view my work, they will experience a roller-coaster of realistic and truthful surprises, good or bad, just as life has presented them to me. I thrive even for my fiction stories to be colourful just as the life around me is.’
‘Just as I do my best every day to remain in God’s love, even though some people can make it extremely difficult and at times hurt you for doing good, I hold on to God, and His love, strength, and guidance make me succeed. My work mainly shows the struggle of a human being, life as it is. I am not afraid to tell the truth or show another fellow my weakness. I am not ashamed to say, ‘I’m sorry, Lord Jesus. Oops, I did it again, please forgive me!’ That is how I can manage life, love God, and love His creation. Thank You, Lord.’
